And the tragedy. A lot of young guys today, get their worldview from Memes. They aren’t interested in the big picture. The big airlines, did indeed discriminate against White guys, but the Regional airlines, like Horizon, never did. They were happy to hire white guys, (because they are more likely to be trapped at that level due to Affirmative Action hiring at the next level). The regional pilot job, is a damned good job, even if you never make it to the legacy airlines. Today, even regular civilian white guys are getting hired into the majors, because of supply and demand. |
