" The supreme art of the commander is to ensure that the reserves (of the enemy - ed.) do not go where the direction of our main attack will be, mislead the enemy ... They touched these reserves. Even the enemy reserves have already gone north from the Kherson direction ... The enemy is still he doesn't know where the direction of the main attack will be, no matter what he says there... He doesn't know, because we don't know yet, we haven't decided yet. And they have already touched the reserve. This is a very dangerous move on their part... At some point "crunches (Russian defense - ed.), breaks seriously. There will be such a normal breakthrough. We will expand, secure the flanks, and brigades will go there, which will develop operational success.that Ukraine has touched its strategic reserves, ours have not yet entered the battle ... When we go into a breakthrough, then it will be "fun" , "stated the ex-adviser.

What commonly happens from what I have experienced from droughts and lakes it the top of the silt gets dry and forms a crust. Once you break through that crust its deep nasty mud. With that said, it is still unstable, so large aggregate would be needed. |

I really REALLY wish Hungary would quit this middle road bullshit since EVERYONE hates them as a result. Nobody liked us during WWII also. When Barbarossa started, Hitler asked Horthy many times to participate and he refused due to logistics and the sorry state of the Royal Hungarian Army. And then the bombing of Kassa happened and out of the blue sadly Hungary declared war on the USSR. Being a small country, we are easy to be manipulated sadly. The various articles in Hungary states that the POW exchange was out of the ordinary and it was Russia that requested it and then just pressed it upon Hungary out of the blue. I still think this whole thing is fucked up and a scam. All of it and sadly Hungary fell for it. |

Wherever a river slows down, there will be sediment. Even if historically the bottom was solid or rocky, there is likely mud on top of it now. That said, I would not discount NATO's capability to build a long pontoon bridge over muddy terrain. Imagine if Ukraine managed to pull off a surprise crossing after all the Russian troops were withdrawn from the area. |
