Can now make out the Moon through the clouds.
Cloud layer dissipating , if it launches the light reflection off the high clouds will make it seem like daylight here for about a minute. Night launches are spectacular. |

Watched it from the back yard.
Did not disappoint ! Cloud layer must have deflected a lot of sound away, could barely hear it. Usually you can feel it . |

View Quote We’re looking north at it from here in Melbourne, you’re right, barely any rumbles here. We had a great view until it hit the initial cloud layer, then we lost it. Didn’t see any of the return booster lights either. |

I do wonder how far they'll go until they deem it not flight worthy. It will definitely be interesting like you said to be sure. |

According to inverse.com, this will be the 100th SpaceX launch and the first time a Falcon 9 booster has launched six times.
Spaceflight shows it as launch attempt #99. |

20% chance of weather violation.
Glad it's a morning launch because the afternoons here have been pretty sporty the past couple of weeks with T-storms and they are getting more wide spread this week. Going to head out to the Port ( Jetty Park Boat Launch) in the morning and hopefully catch it. Mid mornings have been quite clear. I hate missing a launch ! |
