Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,

And now they have to wait longer while the gov decides if 10 seconds of spraying potable water on a 100 yard swath of land adjacent to a launch site for the world's largest rocket is grounds for shutting down the program. It's something they have been doing anyway every time they test the deluge system. Not to mention fresh water from rain. It's asinine and laughable. |

Can you imagine what the world would be like if government actually tried to help (in that way that 8 year old kids are taught that government should work).... "Mr. Musk, it appears that our system of forcing you to apply for a new permit before every launch is too inefficient. We're changing our policies so that we can issue you a blanket permit which is good for a 3 year period." |

Why can they massively oversubscribe their customers like this? Most retail customers and even a bunch of commercial customers do not use all their alloted bandwidth. So as long as you have enough network capacity for the occasional traffic spike you can oversell a lot. |

I live about 200 miles north of boca chica. I'm wondering what the furthest north you can be and still see the launch would be.
Given a 2 hour notice of launch, might I be able to jump in my car and drive south far enough to see at least a flame trail clear the horizon? |

I guarantee the FAA has a rep assigned the case in contact with SpaceX’s environmental consultant. They talk. |

It’s… probably not as bad as you think it is.

Are those surplus rocket boxes? That's cool....
"Yo dawg, I heard you like rockets, so here's some rocket boxes to put in your rocket". Meanwhile, NASA would need to hire a new DEI coordinator to determine the gender and intersectional details for the individuals chosen to carry their $20 million custom parts.... |

Do you think they carry the shaped charges facing away from themselves or not bother? Probably be dead either way if it happened to go off.

SpaceX really needs to be launching routinely soon if they hope to even have a prayer of supporting the Artemis 3 mission. I'm not sure we will take this serious until China sends some dudes to lap the moon. |
