Graphics like this (schools with the most active NFL players) could be interesting in a few years, when individual players in the league played for 4-5 different college teams.

I prefer when there is a veneer of legitimacy. If the players for all of the teams start doing the musical chairs I’m out. It was nice pretending that it was “my team”.

It's hard to keep up with who went where at this point, but yeah if it goes all Colorado style musical chairs it'll be the end of the sport

Pretty much what killed my interest with the NFL.  Free agency and salary caps.  The aspect of building a team and coaching staff and watching it mature over a few years was one of the good things about pro football and to a lesser extent college.  Teams develop personalities when the players can put down roots in an area and have more time to bond with the other players.

Somebody may hire him.  He is a good offensive coach and if he wants work I’m sure he’ll get a chance.

I'd get him a parking spot and make sure A&M maximizes their payments to him, not sure if he'd fit TTUs offensive system but I'm not that impressed with our OC

Yes yes, great offensive coach, team just didn't "execute".

Someone pay him lots of money

In that era, several schools had the same logos due to artists selling their design to multiple schools. Schools licensed the designs without realizing who else was using them. This happened for more mascots in addition to the tiger logo.

Back then there was lots less handwringing and fans might not realize the similarities unless they went to an LSU-Auburn game and saw it on a program.

Logos are serious bidness.

AU administration spent $30K to study what needed changing on the AU logo.  They came up with this.

The one on the left is the original and the one on the right was the newly proposed logo.  Caused quite a stink.  So much so that they Admin dropped the idea completely.  We could have saved that money and used it to help pay off our next fired head football coach.

Nothing wrong with many of the original logos.  Some son of a bitch has always got some bright fucking idea for “improving” and “modernizing” and it’s usually unnecessary or a change for the worse.

No
Iron Bowl
UGA vs Clemson
Ohio State Vs Michigan

Yet they have
FSU vs SMU
LSU vs USCe
Auburn vs Missouri

Charts like these are useful to highlight many of the upcoming good games but are definably not the definitive list of such.

No offense to our resident Auburn fans, but when one team is 7 seasons removed from the last time they were good, a rivalry, no matter the history, loses some of its draw power.
