Baldwin was good as the young, up-and-coming marine turned Wall Street whiz kid turned analyst. Ford was perfect as the haggard, aging bureaucrat thrust into positions he really didn't want to occupy. Re: Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher—he’s more believable as a “grey man” who buys clothes at Good Will or thrift shops to stay under the radar vs a 6’6” behemoth who wouldn’t fit in a typical Greyhound bus seat. When I read the only Reacher novel, I pictured Clint Walker or John Smith the former body builder in Every Which Way You Can) & thought—that’s as goofy as the gambling, playboy secret agent named Bond.
Even Mitch Rapp was 5’10” athletic 175lbs. So, i get the miscast comment based on the novel—but, Jack Reacher’s character was more brains/ability and brute force, vs sheer brute force, in my opinion. Which was why I only read 1 book. |

Dominic Purcell as Drake in Blade: Trinity. Dude just didn’t give the vibe of an ancient, all powerful vampire at all.

Colin Farrell as Alexander the Great. He has matured.
Keanu in Bram Stoker's Dracula. Just no. Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes. Far too smarmy and cutesy. |

Every female character added to a movie because the book wasn't 'diverse' genderwise.
AKA- almost all female characters in LOTR trilogy. Any all female remake of a male movie: Ghostbusters Any movie where Jane Fonda doesn't die. In real life. Like, she gets killed during the filming. |

For the life of me I cannot remember the movie, but it had black vikings. Including the viking queen.

Dan Stevens as the Beast in the recent Disney remake.
Same with Belle. Emma Watson is cute but there were 10,000 hot brunette actresses that would put the Belle in Belle. |

The kaiser roll from Heat. Everyone knows that Neil McCauley would have chosen rye over kaiser.

Quoted: Keanu Reeves in Devil’s Advocate. Him trying to pull off a “southern” accent completely distracted from what should have been a good movie. View Quote Good thing I read the thread before posting. Good movie that would have been great with a better choice for his part. Maybe he’ll always be Ted “Theodore” Logan in my mind no matter what. |

Quoted: Michael Caine as Robert Duvall's brother in secondhand lions,. Couldn't get past the English accent. View Quote This was the first one that came to mind for me. Loved the movie, but sombody else should have been the brother. Tom Cruise as Reacher next. He played the part well, but Reacher is supposed to be a hulking, intimidating lug, not a midget.... |

Quoted: Alan Ritchson as Reacher in the TV series was an even worse choice as Jack Reacher. Cruise wasn’t the best choice but at least he gave the character a personality. Ritchson’s version of Reacher comes across as a meat head with no personality. View Quote Finally, someone agrees with me. No way in hell Ritchson could pull of this scene, even if he was given the script. Jack Reacher (2012) - I Am Not a Hero Scene (9/10) | Movieclips Cruise was much better. |

Both leads in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
I think it would have been a pretty decent movie if there was ANY chemistry between the elads, they were both awful on their own and somehow even worse together. |

Steve Zahn as Al Giordino in Sahara is nothing like the way he is written-- and I love what he did with the part, so we're good. Hi, howareya?

Keanu Reeves in “Chain Reaction”
He was cast as a nuclear scientist/researcher. |

Also Keanu Reeves in “Much Ado about Nothing,” there’s no way he could escape Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure so far as to do a Shakespearean musical.
