His first calling was that of a healer. That was only touched on in the films. An MD will run a sword through you if cornered. (I've personally known a few)  In book, The Return of The King, he saved the lives of Eowyn and her hobbit pard after she slew the king wraith and his flying steed. The dragons the wraiths rode could not only eat you, but just breathing the foul vapors they exuded was fatal. (Guessing Tolkien's polite way of saying dragon farts were truly killers) Both woman and hobbit were banged up, but the poison fume was what was killing them. Dr Aragorn saved them after the big battle. I think Viggo dude did the part right. I can't see The Rock or Jason Mamoa playing Aragorn. |

He got his ass kicked in Patriot Games after putting up a decent fight for his life only to be saved by the gate guards. The ambush in Clear and Present Danger felt similar : they were dead unless they tried to get out. |
