I’m still holding 10k shares in the primary portfolio which I don’t dare touch.
I had 600 shares in the “play account” and sold at $3.34 Justifying why I don’t dare touch the primary portfolio with swing trading |

Nice day, wish I was playing for more myself....if Cal PERS did make a buy like that, it's still a drop in bucket for them.....could easily have been something in the high-risk part of the portfolio, almost automated. I don't know what the total Cal-PERS portfolio size is, but it's a lot.

Each fund makes their own "rules", including a set percentage for (wild) speculation, if they're so inclined. Doesn't look like Cal PERS runs on an index basis, so most likely somebody pushed the button... Jesus, they hold $300B in assets Their MVIS buy isn't even a rounding error for them... ...but, read up on the CalPERS effect. Interdasting. They create their own little wake when they buy, just like that sports bar guy. |

View Quote That’s what I got out of his post, just him mentioning the dip. I’m in the “hold fast” group, I have a lot of confidence in this company, and the predictions of a buyout. Still, when I see a dip I’m like “here we go”! I just need to remember it’s MVIS which acts like almost no other stock, and that we’re still up well over 15% today, and to hold the course. We’ve got this. |

Wandered over to see if you guys were holding on or jumping ship at $3.75ish. I'm tempted to get out and wait for what seems like a guaranteed drop to happen.

I had a sell set for half my holdings @ $4, (my average cost is $1.91, so my initial cost is paid back, now all my MVIS is pure profit). Wish I had paid attention, I may have canceled the order. I need to put a buy in again @ $3 (if we ever see that again). Also wish I had paid attention when this post started and bought a bunch in the <$0.25 range. |

I had 53 shares in webull that I sold at $4, because I didn't want to bother with having just a few shares there. The rest are in Robinhood, which I'm holding for buyout. Only 1200 shares, but I can be happy with a $5-10k profit wherever it ends up.
