Of course it has to be in someones favor to do so and your broker sure as shit isn't looking out for your interests in these situations. EDIT: I take that back IBKR gives you until 5pm Eastern. |

Of course back to my case with IBKR, I would get a thick Indian accent customer service rep named Hadeesh or something like that. |

I didn't mean to post the first one. They were all worth $.01/share at noon today. Second screenshot is total Gain/Loss. Thats a mix of 1-3 weeks. I've been trying to only sell during upswings and in the mornings. Selling during a downward trend is dumb.... unless they are expiring in a day or two and your just trying to get "something". Selling later in the day seems to only make sense if there is a big upward swing. |

Happy weekend everyone. LAZR had a nice tiny little baby bump today.
Was reading in the Reddit thread asking if Mr. Sharma ever elaborated on what he thinks the market cap/share price could be. Did he really answer $1T+? How does one even come up with a number that big? I cannot imagine thats realistic? |

Selling later in the day seems to only make sense if there is a big upward swing. Thanks. Yeah, MVIS has been dead for premiums because like you said, we need that share price increase for the premiums to spike on calls. That hasn't been happening in the last couple weeks so my calls gains have been horrid. SENS was even worse. I've heard the whole "trade options up to 1.5 after the open" before, it might have been from you. When I'm working day shift on Mondays, it unfortunately seems to always gets super busy at the market open. I try my best to get away with what I can, and ask the other guys to cover me best they can while I place my options trades. |

We really need an "Options Tips and Tricks" list. Preferably sell calls on a share price up tic. Preferably sell puts on a share price down tic. Preferably sell up to 1.5 hours after the open. Preferably sell 3-4 week out options (varies based on market news and predictions and speculation, be careful). Look at the third Friday of the month for better premiums. Look for unusual action on the options chain for "options sweep" premium advantages. |

Best time to sell options for sure. The first 1.5 minutes is the wild west for options. You have to be very careful and not sell at market. Or you could get turbo screwed. On any big price movements is my favorite time to sell options. That's why I bought the ME shares and sold the option today. I sold them $1.5 in the money because I'm expecting it to drop again. And I hedged against that. I fully expect to roll these either way. |

The probability of a buy-out is 2 to the power of 600,000 to one against, and increasing. We'd need to incorporate an Improbability Drive to revisit a closer possibility of a buy-out as we once knew it a year ago, but you already knew that. |
