Reynolds because Kaylee and I aim to misbehave
Sheridan because Ivanova If I must play the rules, Janeway because I wanna live! |

Jean-Luc Picard had "command presence". He should have fired his No. 1 (William T. Riker) because fuck his facial hair, but he was otherwise quite impressive.
"SHUT UP WESLEY!" |

Picard. He was starfleet's best captain, was flying the flag ship, so was at the front of everything important. He was the most successful, most loyal to his nation, his fleet, and his crew which is the right order to prioritize such things. He was an excellent scientist, diplomat, and tactician. View Quote But I will side with Picard. Sisko was good but a station isn't my thing. See the episode "Lower Decks" for a good look into Picard's attitude toward junior officers. Also, whenever a crew member had some wonky thing going on, Picard would take them seriously and investigate it. Contrast that with serving under Archer, where a crew member would notice something odd and he'd tolerate it when Vulcan cunt dismissed them as "hearing things". A captain with more of a spine would have put her in her place. |

Sisko. I'm a "redshirt" in real life, and I like my chances better. Kirk was always more worried about getting laid by Orion slave girls than making sure his people made it home.
Sisko also had the Defiant, the will to use it, and had a better bar. |

James T. Kirk
Accepted the mantle of command: “On my personal authority as Captain of the Enterprise.” Stood up to bureaucrats: “I have guards around the grain and I have guards around the Klingons” Defeated Klingons, Romulans, the Gorn and most importantly: Khaaaaaaannn! Also, I have a thing for the extras in the mini skirt uniforms. |

Picard. You could fuck off and not actually do anything and as long as you could figure out some liberal bleeding heart excuse, you’d be golden.
For realz? Janeway. No nonsense, I think voyager seems like it would be a great “work hard, play hard” sort of deal. |

ANy unless I have a red shirt rank, after which none.
"Ok in the landing party, me as the Captain, of course, the XO and second in command, the ship's Surgeon, the CHEng, the senior helmsman, and, um...Petty officer Fredrick. "Oh, Shit!" |

I wouldn't mind being under Janeway, but once that was over I'd mutiny against all of them.

Picard. He seemed to take less risks with the underlings' lives.

I met Jeri Ryan back when she was still married and before she leaked the details of her divorce, against a court order, which hurt her ex-husband's run against Obama for the IL US Senate seat in 2004. We have her to blame. She was rather rude and dismissive when I dealt with her, IMHO. You can tell the character of a person by the way they treat persons they don't have to be nice to. You can keep her. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Probably Sisko. He was much more upfront about being a pragmatist, and if you got your work done you could go enjoy the small city that was the station.

How the fuck is Picard winning this pole? The dude was a sissy. And he's British. Kirk was running through chicks at the cyclic rate.
