A rather cool little anime I liked sort of along the Transformer type show was “Love after world domination”, it was a spring release that started slow but caught my fancy.
And the female lead is nice little waifu material. |

I'm making my way through Black Lagoon, and eh....
Rock is probably the best character, even though he's little more than a fish out of water. Revy seems to be little more than a Mary Sue with Hot Topic® Pre-Teen angst and edginess. Dutch is paper flat. Benny is little more than computing and driving. The animation and voice acting is top notch though. ETA: There have been some pretty good bits. The Engrish intro gets a smirk out of me every time. |

The CGI in at the end of So I'm a Spider, So What is the worst I've seen any of recent anime. It made me feel like I was watching an episode of Cocomelon.
It didn't help that by at that point the MC went AWOL for episodes at a time and the anime became all about secondary characters I couldn't care less about. |

So thinking about picking up konosuba in paper, it appears there is two versions of the series. One a light novel, one manga. Reading about it makes appear they might be different story-wise, how much I couldn’t say.

I would say it's also kind of like MHA. I think they made as mistake in that they really didn't have a well fleshed out idea for a story. And monty just wanted sick action scenes. he wasn't all about the story. After RvB roosterteeth was creatively bankrupt so they took a while to figure it out and then when he died they then were on their own for the action as well. |
