Oh shit, I just realized that I'm a douchebag three times over! I drive a 2012 Ram, I have a supercharged Mustang notchback in the garage, and my wife drives a 2011 Subaru Forester. Fuck me! In my defense, I bought the mustang new back in 93 so I'm an "original douchebag!" LOL!

Definitely have to agree with the Grand Am thing. FWD, 140-150 horsepower, or top of the line 3.4l v6 with 190 hp....... But wait, it has hood scoops, it must be fast!

Rams have horrible resale value so every douche that wants in on the pimp my truck craze bought a used Ram. Douches flock together so the Ram became the douche truck of America. Things got worsw once the "that thing got a hemi" ads started, now every douche Ram owner thinks their truck is a race car.

I think some of y'all are off base with your accusations, so I think I'll explain my standpoint and defend a few previously accused vehicles.
First, we should clarify that by douchiness, we're referring to posing, attention whoring, and being an arrogant dick. Second, we should recognize that any vehicle can be driven by a douche, so we should focus on those with an unusually high probability of such. That said... Defense 1- The Ford F Series. The F series is sold in mindblowing volume, and all sorts of people drive them. That, of course, includes douches. We see a lot of douches driving them, but that's because there's so damn many of them on the road. Defense 2- Subarus. There are certain models that meet the criteria. The WRX STi comes to mind. Suggesting that the whole model line is disproportionately owned by douches is silly. |
