I have that shirt, bought it for a costume party. Ordered it from the place in Hawaii that Selleck bought his at for the show.

I also took a pair of khaki shorts and had them hemmed real nice and short.

Bought used on Ebay for years!!  Silk shirts for pennies off the dollar.  Folks catching on now.  I'm glad  my closet is full.

I don't think they're sold anymore. They're from a Japanese anime show.

My penultimate love has a couple of Spooners. He wears them to 4th of July family cookouts and things like that.  Of course, this is the guy who has nice oxford cloth buttondowns monogramed, white on white, with "KMA".  He cracks me up.

I wore them back in the early to mid 80's.  Now they hang in the back of the closet somewhere.

Yes. The older I get the more inclined I am to wear what I like and the less I give a shit what anyone thinks about it.

It's great too! One of the few advantages to getting older.

Prefer polo shirts.

Yeah Target, I forgot where I got it. I like that shirt. Nice and cool in hot weather and just the right length to cover up my CHL perfectly.

No, but only because married guy driving a Miata in Ohio wearing a Hawaiian shirt is a bridge too far, in the stereotype department. Might as well ask me to put a Jimmy Buffet CD in the deck while I'm at it.

But if I ever own a Ferrari 308 GTS...

I've got several, including two I picked up in HI.

Uniform of the day for me when I'm not on duty and
a great way to conceal a large frame semi auto.

Although I only carry a Glock 19 or single stack 1911
these days.

Comfy in TX for most of the year too.

I have worn them most of my life.  Bought my first couple in Oahu in December 1980, a few weeks before Reagan was inaugurated.

Need to lose some weight to I can fit into a few of my older ones again.

I want to get this one:

This guy get it...there are Aloha Shirts and then there are Aloha Shirts.
Reyn Spooner is the classic reverse print heavy broadcloth-last long-itchy mofos-separate wash with fabric softener
Kahala-another Classic. Important for the "higher level" pocket matched patterns. Full button fronts. Designed to be tucked in.
There are "lay flat" collar bowling shirt styles that are comfortable-tommy Bahamas etc. nice.
My go-to? Tori Richards, now there's an Aloha Shirt.
