I knew Barbie wasn't going to be an innocent children's movie watching the trailers and knowing Margot Robbie was in it. The PG13 is another warning sign that this is a teenager type movie.

I was specifically referring to the Sound of Freedom stories that theater chains are kneecapping the film by sabotaging screenings and that Disney shelved it to keep the message of the movie from getting out. Both of which if were true we shouldn’t worry about the opposition as their efforts have failed spectacularly. Barbie looks prime for the standard wokism to be injected into it. People claiming it’s not marketed to kids don’t know how toy tie in movies work. They might try to straddle the line to get more adults in the theater but the aim is to get as many families to see it as possible. |

Both were well-made and appropriate, at least in the sense they didn't include any political or age-inappropriate content. Life in the Dreamhouse actually had a lot of jokes that kids wouldn't get. I refuse to see it, I will not see any movie where a Transgender person is cast.
It kind of stinks too, because my wife and I did want to see the Hunger Games prequel that is coming out called "A Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes," but we found out that they cast a transgender man to play a woman in that movie as well. TGs or any homosexual sex scenes are where I draw the line. |

Several years ago there was a rumor that when some girl power of the month film was scheduled to come out, Disney bought out all the screens so only it would be shown. People insisted it was true based on theater schedules a month or more out. When it was pointed out that was typical for new release scheduling and later other movies would be listed the true believers refused to accept it.
