We are planning on a run of .625 blocks but it's not going to be for a while since we still have probably a couple hundred of the other blocks in stock. If you want/need this done in the near future, I'd agree with the other guys that a new/different barrel is probably going to be the best way forward.

We only do custom fitting. Custom Collar/Contour Service The new guys can have the headache of attempting to make one size fit all collars. If you are serious, the only proper way to mount an AE can is have a barrel threaded, contoured and a custom collar made all at once. It's the only way to know all pieces are aligned. |

Big thanks to Ron for the custom collar. My MK12 Mod 1 using a WOA 18" SPR barrel wasn't correct and was only able to get 3 turns. He provided me with a custom collar and now get 7 full turns. Bravo sir, you saved me a bunch of tear down and $$$.

When I say the brakes were mounted with crush washers and shims I mean the shims that came with the KAC flash hider mounts. If you look in the pic where I'm installing a brake on a real MK12 you can see a row of brakes. Look at the board with the nails separating the shims by thickness. Those uppers all got 1 or 2 shims and a crush washer.
Funny story - The 5.56 brakes used to have long threads like the 7.62 brakes. When Phil Seeberger and Dick Swan found out KAC shims were being used to install the brakes, he changed them to be shorter threads so they had be mounted with crush washers. Well, fuck both of those assholes the KAC shims will still used

I’ve read about AEM5’s getting opened up in fear of baffle strikes, and it just so happens a 6mm bullet could safely pass through afterwards if one were to find its way down the barrel. Do you know if trajectory arms offers this or would you do it on a trajectory arms can? |

Anyone have experience with an AEM3? I’m considering one for a specific build I have in mind.
Having never shot a K can, I want to have realistic expectations as it obviously won’t be as quiet as an ARM5. I know it’s subjective, but will it sound better than a Sandman K that people always talk shit about? |

Ron, or anyone, I just bought a barrel with matching bolt (new in the wrap) from a friend, an 18" Krieger from CLE. he bought it back in 2014 to do an SPR but never used it.    I also just bought a 16" Bison Armory barrel for a Mod H build. Bison I need two brake/collar sets for use with my AEM5 suppressors... what collar do I need? Long... short...? Thanks. ETA- after some reading I think it's SHORT for the Krieger Mod 0 build and LONG for the Bison Mod H build... is this correct? ETA II- I just checked an extra collar I have... it's OAL is 1" and the rim inside is at .800" so is that a short collar? |
