Form 4 trust just came back approved after 56 days. Hopefully the other two I submitted the same day get approved soon as well. Definitely an improvement.
I want to submit some more now. |
|
|
Um, I finally decided to get a dedicated 5.56 can (Otter Creek Labs Polonium) to see if "short" approval times were really a thing.
E-filed form 4 individual last Thursday. Picked up the can Tuesday. So, 6 days for me. |
|
|
E- Form as individual on the 24th. Got approval notification yesterday, so 5 days? Pretty good considering I filled at 8pm on a Saturday.

Misread title.

Just got an f4 approval
Trust 1 RP w/eft through SS kiosk - 147 days. I still have one pending that was actually submitted 2 weeks before this one through CA. |

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

Vox S.
Trust through Silencer Shop. 60 days today. Finally! |
|
|
My first suppressor took five months; thats what roughly 152 days?
I'm waiting for approval on my second can, submitted on July 5th. September 5th will be roughly 60 days. SilencerShop says 54 days with eform and trust. |
|
|
just got approved after 4 1/2 months. form 4 efile. so not as good but not bad ether.
|
|
|
Picked up the latest can Saturday. 160 days. Trust.

If I didn’t need the work I wouldn’t be here,
I’d be back home on the last frontier. . . |
2 cans approved yesterday afternoon. One was 2 months the other at 1 month. Both on a trust with 1 RP.

Isn't this thread for those who haven't got a fast approval ?
I keep seeing people post their fast approval's.. WTF ? Is it just me , or am I missing something... It's kind of like a gut punch... "Oh look I got mine this fast"... JMO.. |
|
|
04/15/24 & counting.
F4, trust, 1 RP, through Capitol Armory. My 1st NFA item so not sure if that's the part of the delay. Update: Got approved 09/16, so 5 months & a day for me. And of course I just submitted my 2nd F4 the week before so no batch approval for me. |
|
|
E-Form 4 Trust, 2 RP. Submitted May 31 approved 9/3.
95 days. I submitted another one on 7/29. I was hoping they'd get approved together. I've seen reports of having multiple approved within a couple days so I'm still crossing my fingers. |

im not sure how this thread made it to 11 pages. i remember tracking threads always getting locked (outside of that one sticky). FWIW, i (personally) had a 2 batch single shot trust approval 3 weeks ago. Something like 58 and 23 days total. my last ones were at 4 months.
im also noticing that the ATF is batching super weird. they will either: -batch all of your items immediately after one another, with a 0-4 minute delay between approvals OR -they approve something of yours (one item), and then you get another approval 24 hours later. its so odd. i think ive learned to try to stop following it so closely and just live with it. not gonna find any rhyme or reason. |

Maybe I got my hopes up too much, but I applied an individual form for a suppressor on August 22nd. Still no word back. I guess that's technically only 7 business days so far, so maybe I expected too much. I'm not waiting around 150 days or any nonsense like that before I call. If I don't hear anything by next Friday (9/13), I'm going to be emailing or calling and asking what's taking so long. So much for the e file being super fast.

1. 4/3 - SS trust - Approved 9/3
2. 4/30 - SS trust - still waiting |

Spectre got approved today, 106 days on a trust. No more currently in the pipeline for me, but that'll definitely change.

The problem was my own fault, I forgot to give some info to the dealer, so it hasn't even been submitted yet. Hopefully it will be submitted tomorrow, and approved before the end of the month. |

My form 4 trust approval came through today, 112 calendar days. Now for the formalities required for Capitol Armory to ship it to me.

I did one late Tuesday and was approved today

At least now things should go quickly and there will be progress updates. |

131 days. Got a notice this morning that they are refusing to accept the 24 month exemption and I need to send in the rest of my trust documents within 72 hours. Hopefully I can get it sorted, my FFL is only open on Wednesdays.

Just got 4 suppressors approved, submitted 8/17/24 and approved today 9/6/24. Efiled as a trust. This is the fastest I have had them approved as trusts. I am very happy considering what it used to be like over the last decade.

YES! Suppressor 2 was approved today. Two months and one day. My dealer says I can't pick it up until next week though.
Now to find a 5.56 can. |

Surprised today with approval on a spectre 9 on a trust that was submitted 8/17. Never imagined Inwould get one back in 3 weeks after all the years I have accumulated waiting on others.

Last week I got back an approval on a Silencershop form 4 trust. Took a few days short of 2 months. Not the hours or days some are reporting but also not terrible by historical standards.

Late July for a Explorr 224 on trust cert, late Aug for a Recce 5 on indv. |

I don’t like making plans for the day. Because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom.

E-form 4 Trust through Capitol Armory 45 days. Actually signed yesterday (on a Saturday).

Waiting since 5/3 on a trust. Part of the email response from atf to my congressman
“Please note that the current processing times are 145 business days for electronic Form 4s with a Trust. This application has been pending for 91 days. Please know that the times listed are average processing times. Some applications may take longer due to many factors.” Don’t think they’re gonna be any help with this one |
