Go with Knights NT4.

Any specific reason other than authenticity and using the NT4 can?

You need a tan  952v.

I know :(. I'm actually getting either a 620 or a WMX200 by I have only seen the wmx fielded on mk18s.

Added redi mag to my Block II FSP. Moving it backwards to more a PR rifle. The T1 is going to be replaced with an ECOS-N (Comp M2 in Wilcox mount). The only block II items with my the M6X and the RISII.

Why?

....why not.

I hate you. I was going to move mine to my block II since I'm selling my PR. Looks good though

I really want to find a 620v in tan and put it in an offset Haley mount. The M952V disrupts how I want to hold the rifle. I don't use the clicky function of it either, so I would like the slimmer, tape-switch only cap.

That is the same reason why I want a 620. I don't have NV nor will I I'm the foreseeable future so I wouldn't need the IR.
I canget the 620 and the WMX200 both through work for a great price I just can't figure out which one. The 620 is slimmer than the wmx which I like a lot.

There is also a 600V that isn't listed on the website. It has the same mount points as the M600.

I opted for this one because it shoves the light a little forward.

There are some pics around either this thread or the Mk 18 thread of a Marine's rifle that is really well laid out; he's got a 620V in an offset/forward mount of some type and it just looks slicker than heck. Really clean and tucked in close. I want to do the same thing. When I first got my 952V I was fine with the size of it but these days, as I've gotten better at shooting and refined my grip and stance, I feel like its always interfering with where I want my hand to be.

I've gotten away from long bodied lights... they get too much in the way of my grip and I prefer pistol lights on my rifles now. Funny that I used to prefer pistol lights before but I decided I wanted to try other things such as the scout light. Expensive mistakes.

Here ya go!

Update on my Block II: Just ordered an FDE Daniel Defense M4A1 rail, FDE TangoDown battlegrip, VLTOR VC1 flashider, and a BCM gunfighter charging handle. As soon as I get that package from Rainier, my Block II will be complete

Awesome thanks man.
I think since I'm doing away with my PR I'm going to so this setup with a block II. Since I like using my TA01 for hunting. Can't decide between a KAC mount or Larue. The 45 degree is the same price as the larue bu the standard kac is only 40 bucks or so.

After much debate I've decided the B5 FDE sopmod is going to get rit dyed to a darker shade of tan.  Can't stand the seasick green hue of B5's FDE and the LMT is just too dark.  Maybe it's an OCD thing but I'll probably dye the ladder rail covers as well so that it matches closer in color.  Will post results once it's all done and hopefully it doesn't turn out like shit.

Easily the best solution. Paint makes all Colors Match

This may be a dumb question, but how do you make sure all the cracks and crevices are properly painted too?  I only considered rit dye because I know the application will be even and it will help with the hard to reach areas.  I also like how the dye won't rub or wash off and comes out with a factory looking finish.  Although wear marks and chipped paint from use does look cool.

Just spray it lightly at all angles, always in a sweeping motion.  The paint will be propelled into and through the cracks and crevices and fill them in.

ETA: Find something you don't care about that has complex shapes and crevices and make some practice runs on it, see how it works.  I've been spray painting and airbrushing forever, it's pretty easy.

You're over-thinking it.  A good paint-job isn't too planned out in my opinion, and the BEST paint-jobs are those that are wearing thin on the edges.  I wouldn't want a permanent spray because I dig how it looks when it begins to wear away.  And it allows you to paint according to the environment.

Don't over-think, just paint.

I do think rifles look cool with worn paint.

Just like I think road worn guitars look badass - gives them character.

Bottom one looks great!

Lets not clutter this thread with non-Block II clones

Any Block III is only hypothetical and not likely to be developed anytime soon given the current state of the conflict and the diminishing budget for these types of projects.
